Ciara and her NFL star husband Russell Wilson appeared to respond to Future's diss on Saturday.
During an interview on Friday the rapper said the Seattle Seahawks quarterback was not being a man for allowing Ciara to publicly bash her ex-fiancee on social media.
In a move to take the high road, Wilson posted a heart-warming photo of Future's son nuzzling and hugging with his half-sister, who happens to be Wilson's daughter, with the caption: 'All that matters. #love'
In the snap, four-and-a-half year old Future Jr. and one-and-a-half year old Sienna look adorable during their love fest on the floor. Ciara also appeared to respond her ex-fiance; only she shared a picture of herself standing in front of a high-rise building with the caption: 'Rise above.'
'He (Wilson) do exactly what she tell him to do. He not being a man in that position,' the rapper said in an interview with Beats 1 radio.
Then, in a reference to ex speaking out on social media, he added: 'He not tellin’ her (Ciara), chill out with that on the internet. Don’t even talk to him. I’m your husband! You better not even bring Future’s name up!'
Ciara and Future are in the middle of an ongoing custody battle over their son, in which the singer wants a mediator to step in so a travel schedule can get worked out for the boy, according to TMZ. She has claimed in court documents that Future has broken scheduled visits and has dropped off their son to family members instead of spending time with him.
