Top 25 Music Videos of 2014 (#15-#11)

The last set of videos featuring releases from the likes of Beyonce, Sam Smith, Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett, all worthy of being the best. However, visuals showcasing a lightsaber battle, a gay pride parade and a Kill Bill-inspired fight to the death may just be a little better. Enjoy!

#15. "Retro Romance" by Blake Lewis

It had been a while since we last heard from innovative American Idol runner up Blake Lewis, but luckily 2014 was the year of his anticipated return. For "Retro Romance", the second single off his third studio album, Lewis completely geeked out with numerous 80s references and inspirations. From his George Michaels impersonation to the epic Star Wars battles, the music video had the perfect, and pretty darn adorable, storyline to go with the throwback sound of the track. It may have been a tad bit over-the-top and cheesy, but it definitely had an overdose of charm, cheer and fun.

#14. "Burnin' Up" by Jessie J feat. 2 Chainz

Jessie J has not gotten much love in the states, besides sending "Domino" and "Bang Bang" to the top region of the charts. However, when the video for "Burnin' Up" was released, we got to see a more seductive, sultry side to the artist I had been dying to see in action. Looking more gorgeous than ever, Jessie J is shown lounging poolside with a bunch of hunky male models while busting out some fierce moves with her female backup dancers. Some die-hard fans were critical of her more revealing approach, but she quickly shut down all haters with a hot and energetic visual for a great track.

   #13. "Sweat" by XELLE

My love for XELLE is unapologetic and uncontrollable. These hardworking, independent ladies released their best visual to date in support of their infectious "Sweat" single. With cameos from the likes of Andrew W.K. and Bianca Del Rio, the duo have a rowdy good time in the gym while drooling over their chiseled instructor. The outrageous costumes, the playful, bright colors and suggestive exercise routines turn up the heat on the crazy, campy visual. JC and Rony delivered a carefree, comedic music video for an underrated pop gem that will make anyone work up a sweat.

#12. "Really Don't Care" by Demi Lovato feat. Cher Lloyd

I'm a sucker for any LGBT rights activist. Pop sensation Demi Lovato really let her pride flag fly ferociously with the release of an "equality for all" music video in support of "Really Don't Care", the fourth single off her self-titled album. While on a rainbow-themed float during the insane LA Pride Parade, Lovato belts the lyrics to her infectious number as she screams for a world of tolerance, and puts those hateful West Baptist Church bigots in their place. Though it clocks in at less than four minutes, the visual is equally provocative, inspiring and insane. Job well done Miss Lovato!

#11. "Black Widow" by Iggy Azalea feat. Rita Ora

Embodying the deadly Black Mamba aka Uma Thurman from the Kill Bill series, Iggy Azalea teams up with Rita Ora in "Black Widow" for a samurai adventure where the two prove to be slick, sharp, seductive and deadly. Though she's a simple diner waitress dealing with complete jerks in reality, Azalea dreams up cinematic scenes of extensive training, complex fighting sequences and finally getting her man in the end with a poisonous black widow bite. The budget for the video appeared to be big, it embodies the song's message of a strong woman, and ending up being an enjoyable experience.
