Selena Gomez shocked us all when she included an intimate voicemail from ex beau Justin Bieber on album track Love Will Remember and now the former Disney babe has come forward and said that the track is one of the hardest things she's ever had to record.
Selena is thought to have had her ex Biebs on her mind when she recorded the track and in an interview with Saturday Night Online, the brunette said that recording the track "wasn't easy" but it was also a very "liberating" experience.
She also spoke about another track on her recently released LP Stars Dance, titled Forget Forever.
“Both of those are really strong tracks and very fun and emotional as well,” Selena says.
Even though it was painful for her to get through the songs, they ultimately set her free, she says: “It was really liberating."
Selena recently hinted that the track was about the Baby superstar in an interview with InStyle magazine: "Obviously, ‘Love Will Remember’ is a personal song to me and I don’t really need to say anything. I think my fans will get it. I think people will figure it out themselves.. I’m sure he’ll like it too."
Meanwhile, despite Justin and Selena being snapped together on numerous occasions since they split in December 2012, Selena's family allegedly felt like they needed to "stage an intervention" to stop the pair seeing other, sources claim.
According to Life & Style Selena's family are not huge Bieber fans and were apparently so worried about the star getting back in touch with her former love that they sat her down for a major talk: "They told her Justin was a really bad person," a friend of Selena's claims to the magazine.
The insider goes on to allege that Selena's family were so serious about her cutting ties with troubled Biebs that they threatened to not speak to her again: "They said she has to get rid of him from her life, otherwise they can't be a part of her life — her new baby sister included. There were tears from everyone and Selena was devastated."
