Dear friends, at last my Samnites are ready for the battle. I’m quite happy with them. For sure I’ve got still a lot to learn but they look acceptable to me.
Notwithstanding the fact that they all are Auxilia thanks to Donnington miniatures they seem very diversified both in poses and in equipments.
As you can see from a previous post shields draw inspiration from sacred symbols of Samnites and from a Social War coin.
Bases have been made in a standard way: sand + glue, painted and grass (three types: 2 static and 1 tuft).
I have still to work on the camp but not in the next weeks.
So let me introduce you the most fearsome enemy of Rome.
